| Project Turkana is based in London (UK). The team is composed by people coming from different backgrounds and nationalities, who have committed their time and energy on a full voluntary basis in order to work in partnership with the people of the Turkana plain for the development of humanitarian projects with primary focus on health, nutritional nursery schools, agricultural and water resource development projects. Project Turkana is non-denominational, has no salaried staff and works in co-operation with New Ways, a registered UK charity. All funds raised by Project Turkana go directly to project work, which is co-ordinated on site by our overseas partner organisation: the Missionary Community of St Paul the Apostle. Project Turkana was established in Summer 2005. The current members of its committee are:
