The area flanking the Lapurr mountain range from north to south is home to the nomadic Turkana families.  This area is the focus of water resource development activities as well as nutritional units for children.  Hence, projects in this area consists mainly in the construction of rock dams and the drilling of boreholes, as well opening new roads and establishment of nutritional units.
